In November 2019, I was elected to the Wayne County Board of Commissioners by the slimmest margin in memory, only 10 votes. So yes, every vote matters, and I thank everyone who took the time to show up and participate in our local elections. Our voter turnout was above average for a municipal election year. I remain honored and grateful to all who supported my campaign. I will be the first female commissioner in Wayne County.
